Patti LaFleur
Certified Dementia Practitioner
Patti LaFleur is the former care partner to her Mom Linda who had mixed dementia and passed in 2022. Patti brings a wealth of knowledge after caring for both parents, volunteering with people with neurocognitive disorders in art classes and as a community educator for the Alzheimer’s association. Patti is also a former educator with her Masters In Instructional Leadership and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She is on Lorenzo’s House Young Professional Board and participated in the Caring Across Generations Care Fellowship. She shares her Mom and her story on social media to advocate for people living with dementia and change the stigma around dementia. She is passionate about supporting caregivers and excited to be an expert contributor for Help Texts!
