Jean Miller, PhD, LPC, LMHC

Dr. Jean Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Nationally Certified Counselor who utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based approach, focusing on the holistic wellness of mind, body, and spirit. Widowed at a young age, she is called to share her own experience of profound loss and journey of grief and growth. Dr. Miller's personal mission is to make meaning of her husband's unexpected death by supporting others.
Dr. Miller's background includes extensive experience in mental health and education. She is an experienced educator and researcher, and is actively involved in women's advocacy work in her roles as Research Director and Community Advocate for MWC (Modern Widows Club), and mental health advocacy in her role as VP of the Board of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
