Performance Marketing Summer Internship (Canada)
Help Texts Canada Inc. is a world leader and innovator in the delivery of text-based bereavement and mental health support. Our summer intern must be a Canadian citizen and resident and will work with our team remotely as we expand our delivery of text-based grief and mental health support. Texts are currently delivered in all 50 states and 44 countries and are available in 24 languages, with every message rooted in research and evidence-informed practices and customized based on age, relationship, cause of death, time since death, and more. The company was the first in the world to publish research about grief-informed text messaging as a simple and effective form of bereavement care.
This summer internship position will focus on the development of a performance marketing plan for FB, LI, X, and IG with an emphasis on reaching people seeking easy, expert mental health and grief support. Work will include:
- Creating marketing campaigns
- Audience targeting and definition based on current user data
- Creative ad development
- Monitoring ad spend and engagement per platform
- Tracking conversion (sales, sign-ups, etc.) from each platform
- Monitoring customer acquisition costs and adjust campaigns accordingly
- Measuring engagement & click through rates across all platforms
- Tracking lead generation from each platform
- Growing followers across all platforms
Skills
- Strong analytical abilities for data interpretation and analysis
- Experience in performance marketing
- Proficiency with digital marketing and paid advertising tools including Facebook Ad and Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and social media marketing strategies
- Creative problem solving
- Proficiency with Canva and other content development tools
- Strong written communication skills

Required experience:
The summer intern can be either an undergraduate or graduate student from a recognized business school. We are looking for students with experience in:
- Performance marketing
- Digital Marketing/Social Media Marketing
- Data and analytics
- Grief and mental health (preferred but not required)
