Help Texts is a growing SaaS business, delivering grief and mental health support via text in all 50 states and 61 countries. We’re seeking a leader to drive our sales strategy and adoption across key healthcare, corporate and death care industries. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing new deals, expanding our customer base, and leading revenue generation.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize target markets and customer segments, leveraging existing market adoption, pipeline development, market research and industry insights to inform sales strategy.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals, industry focus areas and market trends.
- Win new business and ensure sales targets are met, both with hands-on sales activity and by managing contractors with niche industry expertise.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, regularly reporting on activities and progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Structure deal terms and pricing arrangements to ensure win-win deals with customers.
- Develop personal expertise in industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent Help Texts at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Travel to lead customer presentations and stakeholder meetings.
- Expand existing customers’ product adoption through relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, employers, insurers, and other relevant organizations.
- Contribute to the development of compelling sales collateral, messaging, and promotional materials to drive new deals.
- Uphold the company's values and commitment to providing accessible and impactful mental health support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of success in individual-contributor sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology and health-related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed targets.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable sales initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and growth in a dynamic startup environment.
- Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and other sales enablement tools.
- Commitment to promoting mental health awareness and supporting individuals coping with grief and loss.
