James has worked in software and e-commerce for 25+ years. He was the ninth person to join Slack and served in 5 sales and marketing leadership roles over 7 years. Prior to Slack, James led sales and marketing functions at Mobify, Ziplocal, Teligence and Intrawest. He also failed at his own startup AdHack. He now advises and invests in early-stage B2B software companies and writes about his experience at A Slack Story.
